License Requirement: Nebraska Grade 6 Water Operation License.
Responsibilities- Assembly, installation, modification, and reparations of all pipes and plumbing systems.
- Maintain and upgrade plumbing equipment and piping.
- Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on all plumbing‑related equipment.
- Report to the Shift Operating Engineer.
- Other tasks include installing and/or repairing various plumbing equipment (water heaters, drinking fountains, toilets, sinks, etc.) throughout the facility.
- Minimum of 6+ years relevant experience and a high school diploma or GED.
- Certified/licensed in pipe fitting and a valid Nebraska Grade 6 Water Operation License.
- Backflow certified, highly preferable, or willing to obtain within 90 days of employment.

- Lift, carry, and move objects up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Relocate a 12-foot stepladder without assistance.
- Work at various heights up to 60 feet and maintain balance on scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks and ladders.
- Walk, climb, lift, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, and reach overhead on a routine basis.
- Possess good vision (corrected allowed), and the ability to see in color and communicate in English.
- Use standard ladder within weight limit while carrying tools.
- Recognize when something is wrong or likely to go wrong, without solving the problem.
- Apply general rules to specific problems to produce logical answers.
- Combine pieces of information to form general conclusions or find relationships among events.
- See details at close range (within a few feet).
- Listen to and understand spoken words and sentences.
