License Requirement: Nebraska Grade 6 Water Operation License.

• Assembly, installation, modification, and reparations of all pipes and plumbing systems.
• Maintain and upgrade plumbing equipment and piping.
• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on all plumbing‑related equipment.
• Report to the Shift Operating Engineer.
• Other tasks include installing and/or repairing various plumbing equipment (water heaters, drinking fountains, toilets, sinks, etc.) throughout the facility.

• Minimum of 6+ years relevant experience and a high school diploma or GED.
• Certified/licensed in pipe fitting and a valid Nebraska Grade 6 Water Operation License.
• Backflow certified, highly preferable, or willing to obtain within 90 days of employment.

• Lift, carry, and move objects up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Relocate a 12-foot stepladder without assistance.
• Work at various heights up to 60 feet and maintain balance on scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks and ladders.
• Walk, climb, lift, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, and reach overhead on a routine basis.
• Possess good vision (corrected allowed), and the ability to see in color and communicate in English.
• Use standard ladder within weight limit while carrying tools.
• Recognize when something is wrong or likely to go wrong, without solving the problem.
• Apply general rules to specific problems to produce logical answers.
• Combine pieces of information to form general conclusions or find relationships among events.
• See details at close range (within a few feet).
• Listen to and understand spoken words and sentences.
