Automatic Door Technician

We’re looking for a competent Automatic Door Technician to help us engineer smarter, safer, and more efficient spaces. If you have experience with automatic doors, access control, or low‑voltage systems and enjoy solving mechanical and electrical challenges, we’d love to connect for future openings.
Location:
Omaha, NE
Salary: CA $80,000 – CA $90,000
Responsibilities- Perform planned and preventative maintenance, repair, modifications, and service to a variety of entrances.
- Complete routine safety checks and meet national safety standards.
- Work in a variety of weather and varying environments.
- Troubleshoot challenges on‑the‑go.
- Maintain company equipment and tools properly.
- Track and maintain job‑related paperwork and submit in a timely manner.
- 1+ years experience installing or servicing commercial pedestrian doors.
- Ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics, and diagrams.
- Mechanical and electrical competence, including low voltage.
- Customer‑service mindset, professional and good communicator.
- Ability to travel between job sites with occasional overnight travel and some on‑call weekends.
- Pass a background check and drug screen.
- Valid driver’s license.
- OSHA training preferred.
- Present neat and clean appearance personally and in workmanship, in accordance with company policies.
- Company‑provided vehicle, cellphone, and power tools.

- Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
- Experience with automatic doors, access control, or commercial glazing.
- Has an aptitude for mechanical and electrical competence - including low voltage.
- Has the ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics, and diagrams.
- Has a customer‑service mindset, professional, and good communicator.
- Thrives in various work environments from construction sites to retail storefronts.
