Our growth creates this opportunity as we recruit a Hoist and Crane Service Technician. This position offers opportunities for advancement and ongoing training to enhance technical skills and knowledge in the field of hoisting and lifting equipment. Responsibilities
  • Maintain, repair, and inspect overhead hoists and cranes.
  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, conduct regular inspections, and ensure the safe and efficient operation of hoisting and lifting equipment.
  • While demonstrating problem-solving and critical thinking skills, troubleshoot and repair hoist and crane motor controls, gear cases, etc., in a timely manner, with minimal assistance.
  • Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Work independently and in a team environment.
  • Have a strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
  • Maintain a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques.

Schedule
  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
Requirements
  • Ability to work at heights exceeding 60 feet.
  • Two or more years of experience in repairing and/or inspecting overhead hoists and cranes OR two or more years of electrical maintenance experience.
  • Working knowledge of motor controls, three-phase power systems, and single-phase power systems.
  • Familiarity with basic hand tools and multimeters and the ability to interpret electrical schematics.
