Hoist & Crane Service Technician

Riekes Equipment is an industry leader in material handling and warehouse solutions. This opportunity is to recruit a Hoist and Crane Service Technician. The position offers opportunities for advancement and ongoing training to enhance technical skills and knowledge in the field of hoisting and lifting equipment.

• Maintain, repair, and inspect overhead hoists and cranes.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, conduct regular inspections, and ensure the safe and efficient operation of hoisting and lifting equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair hoist and crane motor controls, gear cases, etc., in a timely manner, with minimal assistance.
• Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Work independently and in a team environment.
• Maintain a strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
• Maintain a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques.

• Ability to work at heights exceeding 60 feet.
• Two or more years of experience in repairing and/or inspecting overhead hoists and cranes OR two or more years of electrical maintenance experience.
• Working knowledge of motor controls, three-phase power systems, and single-phase power systems.
• Familiarity with basic hand tools and multimeters and the ability to interpret electrical schematics.
