• Must have the ability to clearly communicate with customers verbally and in writing
• Troubleshoot and repair multiple systems including Access Control, Fire, Burglar, Intercom and IP Video systems
• Work independently to execute multiple work orders throughout the work day
• Perform inspections and system tests
• Must be able to maintain a clean and safe worksite
• Maintain accurate time and expense entries with well-written notes
• Keep an accurate record of vehicle inventory
• Ensure departmental daily records are maintained and accurate
• Clearly demonstrates a safety mindset in all actions
• Other duties assigned

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must
• Previous service-based field experience a plus
• Ability to de-escalate stressful situations
• Minimum one year of experience installing Access Control, Fire, Burglar Systems, or IP Video Surveillance
• Must have an understanding of basic networking
• Ability to troubleshoot with a multi-meter
• Self-motivated to achieve day-to-day tasks independently
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics
• Ability to climb ladders and operate a scissor lift
• Ability to provide the necessary troubleshooting skills for a variety of systems
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or scheduled form
• Valid driver’s License with a good driving record
• Technical trade school education is a plus, but not required

• Hourly Pay Range: $24.00 – $38.00 (based on experience and qualifications)

• Standard 8-hour shifts
• Overtime may be required based on project needs
• Participation in on-call rotation as assigned
