Technician (Omaha, NE) – FCC Environmental Services

We are looking for an experienced technician to maintain fleet trucks and trailers, ensuring safety and customer service through preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repair work.

• Perform minor and major repairs on trucks and trailers.
• Conduct regular preventive maintenance on service trucks, including inspection, tire rotation, and oil changes.
• Collaborate with the repair team to diagnose problems and plan repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of each repair performed.
• Repair, modify, and perform preventive maintenance on applicable fleet vehicles.
• Complete all required preventive maintenance for equipment operation.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical malfunctions.
• Inspect fleet vehicles to ensure DOT compliance, including brake maintenance.
• Complete all required daily reporting.
• Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories.
• Prepare mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Adhere to strict safe work practices to comply with Company, DOT, and OSHA regulations.

• High School Diploma.

• 2 years of fleet maintenance experience.
• Welding and body fabrication experience is a plus.
• Ability to read and comprehend technical reference materials (equipment and repair manuals).
• Experience with applicable Microsoft and diagnostic applications.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Prompt, professional, and dependable demeanor.
