Position SummaryWe are looking for an experienced technician to maintain fleet trucks and trailers, ensuring safety and customer service through preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repair work.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities- Perform minor and major repairs on trucks and trailers.
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance on service trucks, including inspection, tire rotation, and oil changes.
- Collaborate with the repair team to diagnose problems and plan repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of each repair performed.
- Repair, modify, and perform preventive maintenance on applicable fleet vehicles.
- Complete all required preventive maintenance for equipment operation.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical malfunctions.
- Inspect fleet vehicles to ensure DOT compliance, including brake maintenance.
- Complete all required daily reporting.
- Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories.
- Prepare mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Adhere to strict safe work practices to comply with Company, DOT, and OSHA regulations.
- High School Diploma.
- 2 years of fleet maintenance experience.
- Welding and body fabrication experience is a plus.
- Ability to read and comprehend technical reference materials (equipment and repair manuals).
- Experience with applicable Microsoft and diagnostic applications.
- Strong attention to detail.
