Spee Dee Delivery is a family owned and operated company that was started in 1978 by Donald and Sylvia Weeres. Our core business is standard, next‑day, ground delivery. The corporate headquarters and main sort facility is located in St. Cloud, MN. We currently employ over 1,800 employees company wide and have expanded throughout the Midwest.

The Mechanic/Vehicle Technician will diagnose and repair gasoline engines and other powertrain components, hydraulic brakes, steering and suspension systems, electrical systems, and diesel emission systems.

• Monday‑Friday, 3:00 PM start
• $20.00‑$33.00 per hour, based on experience
• +$2.00 per hour shift differential
• Occasional Saturdays, as needed for full‑time duties
• Paid overtime at time and a half after 40 hours per week
• Part‑time opportunities available with flexible options

• Use scan tool and laptop technology
• Follow reasonable instructions from shift leader
• Work independently and/or with team
• Perform routine truck inspections and maintenance of fleet equipment
• Help maintain an effective and clean work environment
• Have own tools or ability to obtain own tools to complete all job functions
• Perform other related duties as assigned

• Welding and torch experience is a plus but not required
• Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle or willingness to learn

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 2 years technical instruction in diesel or auto mechanics is preferred

• Lifting up to 75 pounds
• Pass a DOT physical exam
• Spend a minimum of eight hours on feet
• Work environment requires bending, kneeling, crouching, walking, and driving
• May involve hazards such as diesel exhaust, brake dust, grease, antifreeze, and other vehicle repair elements
