Field Service Technician

This individual will operate a mobile service vehicle and travel to customer locations to perform in-field machinery diagnostics and repairs. These repairs include, but are not limited to, component removal, disassembly, and reconditioning, following technical manual procedures. The role requires efficient, quality work, with occasional overtime and weekend work.

• Perform in-field machinery diagnostics and repairs.
• Represent the dealership in the field to provide service solutions and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Diagnose, inspect, recondition, repair, assemble, and service trucks as assigned.
• Document work details, parts, and fluids used on work orders.
• Maintain a clean work environment and care for tools and equipment.
• Identify and communicate customer service opportunities.
• Maintain technical knowledge of equipment sold.
• Follow safety rules and company policies.
• Present a professional image to customers and the community.
• Participate in training to develop skills and knowledge.
• Engage in company communication efforts and team activities.
• Maintain positive relationships with colleagues and management.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Strong mechanical skills
• Trade-specific tools, including hand and pneumatic tools
• Valid driver’s license as per company policy
• Ability to assemble and maintain trucks
• Computer proficiency
• Customer service skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Organizational skills
• Preferred:
  Graduation from a diesel technology program
• Must have valid work authorization in the U.S.
