You will help manage visitor access, monitor alarms and/or cameras, document activity, and support tenants and guests with clear communication and professional customer service. What You'll Do
  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors at the front desk by following site-specific procedures and policies for a commercial real estate location.
  • Greet and screen visitors, verify identification as required, issue visitor credentials, and/or direct guests to the appropriate destination while maintaining a professional front desk presence.
  • Monitor lobby activity and report unusual or suspicious behavior to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership to help to deter unauthorized access.
  • Answer phones, take messages, and route calls to the appropriate tenant or property management contact as directed by site procedures.
  • Coordinate visitor access requests with tenant representatives and/or property management, including notifying hosts and tracking arrivals and departures in the visitor log.
  • Operate access control systems and other front desk tools such as badge systems, intercoms, and CCTV monitoring equipment as assigned.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating site emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Complete required reports such as shift activity logs, incident reports, and visitor documentation with clear and accurate details.
  • Support building operations by assisting with delivery routing, vendor check-in, and key control processes as directed by site policies.
  • Communicate with property management, tenant contacts, and/or emergency responders during incidents, providing timely updates and documenting actions taken.
Minimum Requirements
  • Have a minimum of 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
