Security Officer - Perimeter Rounds (Omaha, NE)

As a Security Officer - Perimeter Rounds in Omaha, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast‑paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security‑related incidents. You will support access control, observe operations, document activity, and communicate clearly with teams on site.

• Provide customer service to staff, drivers, and visitors by following site‑specific security‑related procedures and access control policies at a logistics and distribution location, and/or supporting emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the warehouse, yard, trailer areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor and report security‑related concerns such as open doors, broken fencing, unsecured loads, and/or suspicious behavior, following post orders and escalation guidelines.
• Assist with traffic flow and driver check‑in processes as assigned, helping to maintain orderly movement through gates, docks, and staging areas.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
