Business Development Manager

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Omaha, NE, for a Business Development Manager. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining agency relationships, identifying new business opportunities, nurturing pipeline, and executing growth strategies. Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting agencies, onboarding and training new agencies, building a pipeline of new opportunities, understanding territory and competitors, negotiating quotes with producers, and collaborating with internal teams to meet organizational goals.

The individual will also be tasked with tracking market trends and ensuring agent satisfaction through effective communication and responsiveness.

• Strong relationship management, networking, and communication skills
• Experience in business development, sales strategy, and client acquisition
• Knowledge of marketing principles and the ability to conduct market research
• Proficiency in negotiation and relationship management
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Prior experience in commercial insurance is a plus
• Self-motivation and ability to perform effectively in an on-site team environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field
