Job Description
The Inside Sales Specialist, located in Omaha, NE will ensure strong A/V experience, whether it be complex residential, commercial, or automotive audio/video solutions. This role is expected to help drive revenue and exceed sales goals while building exceptional customer relationships with both dealers and end users.
Essential Functions- Revenue & Sales Performance:
- Consistently meets and exceeds sales targets and KPI’s through a balanced focus on gathering new business and expanding existing accounts
- Drive sales cycles from inception to end, demonstrating value and solution relevance throughout
- Engage with existing customers and prospects via phone, email, video, and in-person as needed
- Build strong, long‑term relationships with operators, dealers, and influencers in the motor coach and commercial bus aftermarket
- Understand customer needs and recommend tailored solutions that drive customer satisfaction and repeat business
- Maintain meticulous, up-to-date records in the CRM—including activity logs, opportunities, pipeline status, closing notes, and follow‑up actions
- Create, update, and manage sales opportunities and forecasts; communicate daily opportunities with the Sales Manager
This is a full‑time position. Hours of work are expected to align with REI’s normal business hours, Monday‑Friday, with required availability on the weekend and anticipated travel.
RequiredEducation and Experience
- High school diploma or GED required; secondary education preferred
- Minimum 2 years of successful sales experience—preferable in A/V technology, electronics, or related technical sales environment
- Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
- Strong customer support, verbal, and written communication skills
- Confidently working cross‑functional within the Sales team as well as externally with customers/dealers
- Basic networking skills
- Strong technical skills within CRM (Salesforce, Hub Spot, Microsoft Dynamics)
- Detail oriented with good critical thinking skills
- Experience in complex A/V systems—residential, commercial, or automotive.
- Understanding of aftermarket sales models and channel relationships
- Experience with technical presentations or product training for customers
