Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, is currently searching for a remarkable full-time Lead Mixologist at The Farnam, Autograph Collection, in Omaha, NE.

Job Purpose Statement

We’re seeking a passionate, creative, and technically skilled Lead Mixologist to inspire our bar team and elevate the guest experience through craft cocktails and personalized service. This role is ideal for someone who views mixology as both an art and a science—who values precision, innovation, and storytelling behind the bar. As a leader within our team, you’ll shape a cocktail culture rooted in craftsmanship, collaboration, and Forbes-level service standards, helping to position our bar as a destination within Omaha’s dining scene.

Primary

Responsibilities
  • Taking a creative approach to crafting bespoke cocktails
  • Commitment to house‑made ingredients and sustainable bar practices
  • Design and manage bar schedules to ensure efficient and consistent service coverage
  • Partner with the banquets team to craft and execute elevated beverage experiences for group events and special occasions
  • Train and develop bartenders on cocktail techniques, product knowledge, and Forbes service expectations
  • Maintain bar inventory, order supplies, and ensure compliance with cleanliness and safety standards
  • Deliver efficient, impactful, and memorable service that aligns with luxury hospitality standards
Requirements
  • Previous bar leadership or supervisory experience
  • Mastery of classic and modern cocktail techniques
  • Deep understanding of flavor balance, texture, and aromatics
  • Strong knowledge of bar operations
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to lead under pressure and maintain a high energy, guest-focused atmosphere
