Service Leader –
Chipotle Mexican Grill
The Service Leader is responsible for maintaining a positive customer experience by ensuring safe and quality food is prepared and served, and that the restaurant crew is well trained and provides good customer service. The position requires working while clocked in, evaluating additional tasks when available, and supporting various operational duties.
The OpportunityWhat You’ll Do
- Ensure great tasting, high quality food is served.
- Help to resolve food quality issues.
- Support food safety by ensuring hand washing, glove changes, monitoring time and temperature, secondary shelf lives, and following the Daily Food Safety Checklist and food safety policies and procedures.
- Help to resolve customer incidents and work to ensure positive customer experiences.
- Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, shift meetings, and line schedules.
- Develop and cross‑train front‑of‑house crew.
- Assist with crew performance reviews.
- Develop future Service Leaders.
- Assist with miscellaneous office administration duties such as banking, cash handling policies and responsibilities, and office paperwork.
- Ensure office equipment remains in working order and order supplies as necessary.
- Ensure the proper quantity of supplies is available as needed.
- Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
- Knowledge and experience of cash handling policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of food safety and health department matters.
- Familiarity with office paperwork.
- Knowledge and ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
- High school diploma.
- Restaurant experience.
