Position Summary

PART - TIME The laboratory investigates the intestinal tight junction barrier in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and other conditions of the gut, using in vivo, ex vivo, and in vitro model systems. This position will assist with proper maintenance of lab safety documents and overall compliance of regulatory requirements.

Education:

Less than 1 year. Experience in a research laboratory setting or clinical lab setting. (Will consider three years related education/experience)

Knowledge of research methodology and techniques

Ability to independently follow experimental guidelines and protocols.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Knowledge of computer use and its applications.

Ability to identify potential problems in time and to ensure smooth day to day running of the laboratory.

Ability to work harmoniously with other members of the research group
