We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Scientist to join our Monoclonal Antibody Research team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the downstream processes development for the production of therapeutic monoclonal antibodies. This position requires a strong background in recombinant protein production and purification as well as knowledge of protein quality assessment. The candidate will be responsible for conducting the laboratory studies for the development of new or improved veterinary monoclonal antibody products.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in design and execution of research geared toward developing downstream processes for the purification of therapeutic proteins and monoclonal antibodies.
- Perform recombinant protein production and purification using various chromatography techniques (e.g., affinity, ion exchange, size exclusion).
- Perform standard laboratory work and routine maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- Document experimental procedures, results, and conclusions in laboratory notebooks and technical reports.
- Present findings and updates to project teams and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other team members for quality assessment of purified proteins support the downstream needs of other team members.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams outside of the group.
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
Required Experience and Skills- 5+ years of experience in recombinant protein purification.
- Hands‑on experience with chromatography techniques and other protein purification methods.
- Proficiency in using laboratory software and data analysis tools related to downstream unit operations.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Working in a related industrial setting.
- Knowledge and experience with different recombinant protein expression systems at industry scale.
- Experience in the downstream process development for therapeutic monoclonal antibodies produced from commercial CHO cell line.

Benefits and CompensationSalary range: $87,300.00 - $. Eligible for annual bonus and long‑term incentive. Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, retirement (401(k)), paid holidays, vacation, and compassionate and sick days.
Work ModelU.S. Hybrid Work Model (effective September 5, 2023):
Employees in office‑based positions in the U.S. will work a hybrid schedule of three total days on‑site per week, Monday–Thursday, with Friday as a remote day, unless business‑critical tasks require on‑site presence. The Hybrid model does not apply to field‑based, facility‑based, or research‑based positions located at a Company site, positions covered by a collective‑bargaining agreement, or any position that cannot be reasonably performed remotely.
