Pay Rate: $2400 to $2600 per week

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery (L&D) for a 13-week contract assignment in Omaha, NE. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to mothers during labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period while ensuring the safety and well-being of both mother and newborn.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care to mothers during labor and delivery
Monitor fetal heart rate and maternal vital signs
Assist physicians during labor, delivery, and emergency procedures
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Educate patients and families about childbirth, recovery, and newborn care
Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress
Requirements:
Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state license
Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
BLS, Intro to Fetal Monitoring, and NRP certifications preferred
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
