Shift: 12H Nights 12 hr nights

Description:

Unit  Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with Common Spirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.
** Driver's license required at submittal and will be used to determine if candidate is outside 50 miles.
**** Fingernail policy:
Artificial nails are prohibited in all departments providing patient care- refusal to remove nails will lead to termination of contract
* must be able to circulate in ORIn addition to ensuring that our Traveler RNs are able to circulate the ORs, we also need to screen for competency in normal newborn assessments and routine baby care. We do have the expectation that these nurses will float to Postpartum on occasion and this requires care of the infant as well as the mom.

- Do you follow AWHONN guidelines for ratios?: 1:1-2 labors, 1:2-3 antepartum

High-risk OB and routine obstetric care

Pitocin, Magnesium Sulfate, pain meds
- Is there a Charge Nurse on each shift? Does the charge nurse take an assignment?:

- Are there nurse aids/surgical techs on this unit? Duties?: 2 OBTs per shift- OB/Neonatologist in house 24/7?: 3 residents and 1 supervising MD on the floor at all times
- Anesthesia in house 24/7?: CRNAs on the unit 24/7- RT Equipment (Vents, Cpap, BiPap, High Flow, etc.) Are RNs required to do anything with these besides trouble shoot?:

- Are there Tele/Monitor Techs on this unit? Are RNs required to read their own strips? What brand are the tele monitors?:

Every third weekend, but could be up to every other based on unit need

Will float to Postpartum, occasional float to the house to be a  sitter - Scrub Color/Dress code:

RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
