CNA - Summer Program, Omaha,

Position: CNA - Summer Program, Omaha, 7p-7a (24 hrs)
** SUMMER PROGRAM - CNA

* CNA experience or Clinical Rotation experience required**
* ** RESPONSIBILITIES****:*
* * Attend shift report at beginning and end of each shift to ensure good communication between nursing members
* Assists patients with activities of daily living which may include dressing, feeding, bathing or any other hygiene needs
* Assists the bedside nurse (RN or LPN) with patient treatment and examinations
* Takes vital, documents status and gives treatment as directed by Registered Nurse
* Participates in patient discharge planning
* Performs other related projects and duties as assigned

** EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE****:*
* * 18 year of age
* Successful completion of the 75-hour state approved CNA training program
* Active CNA certification in good standing in Nebraska
* Requires at least 6 months of CNA experience or currently enrolled in a LPN or RN program with clinical rotatation experience
