This is an excellent role for someone who likes routine and wants to keep their skills sharp. Your day-to-day nursing tasks will depend on the tailored needs of your patients. In addition to clinical skills, you'll educate patients and their families about the disease processes contributing to impairments/disabilities and teach nursing techniques to help them develop the self-care skills necessary to move toward wellness on the illness-wellness continuum.
Collaborate with physicians, therapists and nursing team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
Coordinate care for various speech, physical, occupational or respiratory therapies they have scheduled each day.
Prepare patients and their families for future self-management and decision-making responsibilities by fostering patients' independence and goal achievement.
Identify comprehensive care plans based on patient goals and maximum potential.
Participate in the interdisciplinary team process at team conferences and offer input into team decision making.
Qualifications
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license that allows you to practice in our state
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association required upon hire

Pay Range
$36.00 - $52.20 /hour
