Certifications:
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Beds/Ratios: 16 beds | 1:2 (occasionally 1:3) Radius Rule: 50 miles; no Common Spirit/CHI/Dignity employment (FT/PT/PRN) in past 12 months t:
Driver’s license required at submission (used to verify radius) Exam:
Pass/Fail open-book exam during Friday orientation; 90% required or contract terminated Nail Policy:
No artificial nails; refusal to remove = termination Clinical Details Patient Types:
Vented ICU patients, BIS monitoring, TTM, rare IABP Drips:
Required—vasopressors/inotropes, sedatives, heparin, octreotide, insulin Support:
Charge nurse each shift (takes assignment); no CNAs/PCTs Coverage: eICU support in 14 rooms Schedule & Logistics
Shifts:
7a–7p / 7p–7a; 6-week scheduling Weekends:
Every other Holidays:
Rotated with permanent staff Floating: PCU or Med-Surg Scrubs:
Navy blue Orientation:
Classroom + 2 × 12-hour unit shifts RTO:
Must be submitted upfront (≤7 days per 13 weeks); no additional RTO approved Notes:
