Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Level 4 NICU position caring for complex neonatal cases in a high-acuity surgical environment.
Responsibilities- Work in a Level 4 NICU with diverse and complex neonatal patients from 23 weeks gestation up to 1 year of age
- Patient diagnoses include PPHN, bowel perforation/NEC, BPD, tracheostomy and G-button evaluations, pre-op cardiac anomalies, gastroschisis, and hydrocephalus
- Night shift position with three 12-hour shifts per week (19:00-7:30)
- Required to work one extra shift every three weeks during high census periods
- Float required to PICU, CCU, or med surg floors for similar skill set patients
- Deliver specialized nursing care to neonates with high surgical and medical needs
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams in the NICU and related units
- First-time travelers may be considered
- Active NE or compact state RN license required
- Recent NICU RN experience, preferably in high acuity or surgical settings
