RN – PCU Stepdown

• Work 12‑hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Patient ratios of 1:4‑5 with 35‑bed unit capacity
• Every other weekend requirement
• Every third holiday requirement
• No call or standby requirements
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Must pass open book exam on Friday during orientation with 90% score to continue
• Artificial nails prohibited in all patient care departments
• Driver's license required at submittal
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, nephrology, stroke, diabetes, and continuous EEG monitoring conditions
• Required to titrate drips including Cardizem, beta‑blockers, and seizure medications
• Floating requirements to medical floors, ICU, or rehab units
• Fast‑paced environment requiring positive attitude, communication skills, critical thinking, and problem‑solving abilities
• First week onboarding followed by 1‑2 days floor orientation
• EPIC charting system
• Must be located more than 50 miles from facility
• Cannot be employed full‑time, part‑time, or PRN with Common Spirit facilities
