Overview
The Development Coordinator oversees fundraising events and volunteer coordination for the Development department, enabling the Development and Communications Director (DCD) to focus on major gift cultivation and corporate partnerships. This position leads all fundraising events from planning through execution, builds and maintains the organization's volunteer program, and provides support for annual fund campaigns and donor stewardship activities. The Development Coordinator supervises the Fundraising Assistant and ensures operational excellence across event logistics and volunteer engagement.
The ideal candidate demonstrates exceptional organizational and leadership skills, event management expertise, and the ability to recruit, train, and retain volunteers.
Pay Range: $61,000 - $67,000/Per Year
Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in business, Nonprofit Management, Fundraising, or related field requiredThree or more years of progressive management experience in nonprofits, community health centers, or equivalent sectorThree or more years of experience with large-scale event planning and executionThree or more years of experience in volunteer coordinatingAdvanced proficiency with donor database systems, preferably Bloomerang or Raiser s EdgeDemonstrated success in designing and implementing grants or fundraising campaignsStrong analytics skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insightsExperience with donor stewardship and relationship managementExcellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to craft compelling fundraising messagesStrategic thinking capabilities with proven ability to develop and execute plansExperience in budget management and financial projectionsAbility to maintain strict confidentiality with sensitive donor information#J-18808-Ljbffr
