Reports to: Megan Poler
- Work closely with the Director of Advancement to develop a comprehensive fundraising and stewardship plan that sustains the organization’s growth
- Develop, plan and implement strategies to achieve fundraising goals, including events, communications, mailings, grants/proposals, solicitation calls and other coordinated activities
- Collaborate with team members, school partners and external vendors/contractors to ensure high quality deliverables and seamless coordination of programs
- Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, prospects and volunteers to invite support of the Consortium and our mission
- Create an effective stewardship program that ensures donors are appropriately thanked and shown the impact of their support through communications, meetings or events
- Collect data and report outcomes to the Board of Directors through the Advancement Committee and engage them in Development activities
- In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned
- Demonstrated track record of implementing successful fundraising and stewardship plans
- Capable of overseeing multiple programs simultaneously and sound judgment in prioritizing activities
- Skilled in complex planning and decision-making
- Creative thinker with a proactive, team-oriented mindset
- Positive self-starter who is people-oriented and results-oriented
- Superior oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work with and maximize a donor database such as Raiser’s Edge
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite, with experience using design and project management platforms including Canva and Asana
- Sensitive to the unique personal and educational needs of immigrant and at-risk persons
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience in nonprofit development and a commitment to the mission of Catholic education
- Minimum 3 years of related experience for Assistant Director or 5 years for the Associate Director level
