Our client, a global food manufacturer in Omaha, NE, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for a 7+ month contract, culture and working environment! 2nd shift hours: 2pm-11pm
Position OverviewAs a Maintenance Supervisor, you will lead and motivate teams while providing leadership coverage across all departments. This fast-paced, flexible role supports production by stepping in for supervisors and driving impactful maintenance projects. You will identify opportunities to improve efficiency and ensure smooth operations.
- Maintaining work plans to support and improve plant equipment reliability
- Fostering a culture of inclusion and continuous improvement
- Directing, training, and developing maintenance team members
- Using root cause analysis to resolve maintenance issues
- Identifying opportunities to reduce cost/waste using LEAN principles
- Documenting maintenance and reliability best practices
- High school diploma or GED and related work experience
- 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- 1+ year of experience as a maintenance supervisor in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience using SAP
- Maintenance experience in a food manufacturing environment
