The role involves operating any machine or performing any job in the department efficiently and accurately, with a good understanding of the product and how it goes together. Responsibilities include checking work from prints if required, removing dies, making set-ups, and ensuring quality and dimensional accuracy. The physical ability to handle parts, materials, tools, and carts is necessary, with supervision provided as needed.
The position may be assigned to any of the following roles:
Machine Operator:Responsible for safely and efficiently operating machinery used in production, setting up machines, monitoring operations, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring quality standards are met.
Hang/Hook:Responsible for hanging parts onto the paint line, rotating roles every hour, involving lifting and setting pallets.
Paintline Attendant:Tends the paint line, with roles rotating every 60 minutes, including Box Thrower, Take Off, Taper, Bander, and Box Puller, each with specific responsibilities related to packaging and shipping.
Sign Off:Ensures accurate labeling and staging of palletized products, labeling, barcode application, order accuracy, and preparing loads for shipping.
Benefits and Compensation:- 1st shift: $20.14/hour
- 2nd shift: $23.15/hour
- $1,000 bonus after 90 days (subject to taxes) for new hires
