The Area Manager manages multiple client sites across a certain geographic area. This position is accountable for each of the site’s safety, overall budgets, and client relations. Job duties include:
- Recognize and promote all safety guidelines developed by the company.
- Continually look for ways to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
- Possess strong leadership skills and excellent job knowledge, including how a good sanitation crew performs and can solve problems.
- Communicate with team members and client team members in a professional manner.
- Understand strategic planning and improve plant profitability, safety, and food safety.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Possess a valid and active Driver’s License.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to adapt to multiple different situations.
- Ability to enforce company and client policies across the board.
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (“GED”).
- 1-2 years of related experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
This position is based in your home office and requires frequent travel to customer and plant locations which may require the use of PPE including safety glasses, hardhat, ear protection, and/or other protective equipment/clothing. Walking, standing, sitting, and computer work are all required in this environment. Sitting for extended periods of time when travelling (mostly driving) is also required.
