Pay Ranger: $18-22 based on experience
OVERALL SUMMARYPerforms a variety of duties that include receiving parts, checking parts, pulling / delivering parts to internal customers, data entry, operate hand and power equipment for material handling to accommodate storage and flow of products throughout production facility. Direction is given daily by Production Supervisor.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS- Pulling and delivering assembly hardware
- Pulling and delivering parts to necessary work centers
- Assign Primary stock ’s
- Stock components in primary location.
- Cycle count all stocking locations.
- Organizing parts in proper locations
- Safety and Housekeeping
- Other duties as assigned by the area supervisor
- Ability to handle material in a safe manner.
- Basic computer skills and typing.
- Ability to use the overhead cranes preferred
- Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing
- Good math and measurement skills
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Ability to manage several projects simultaneously
- Former inventory control experiences a plus
- Previous Forklift/Warehouse experience preferred
- Stand, walk, and use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- The employee frequently is required to talk or hear.
- The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- Able to bend, reach push, pull and put parts into storage
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- The majority of the time will be working in outside and inside with or without protection from weather conditions and with or without protection from temperature changes.
- There are periodic high noise levels and vibration associated with this job. Sources include: engine noise, air compressors, air powered equipment, and other shop noises.
- There are a variety of physical hazards in which there is danger to life, health, or bodily injury, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving equipment, heavy parts, electrical shock, engine exhaust, working on elevated equipment, exposure to burns, and exposure to explosives (gases).
- Machines, tools, equipment, and work aids which may be representative, but not all inclusive, of those commonly associated with this type of work.
- Air power tools, electric drill, drill press, grinders (both hand and bench), wrenches, torches, welders, a variety of hand tools, air chipping hammers, and electric cords.
