- Operate sit down forklift safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload materials from delivery trucks and storage containers using the forklift.
- Perform pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on the forklift to ensure safety and functionality.
- Ensure that products are stored in designated areas and follow proper labeling procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory counts as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet production deadlines.
- Valid forklift operator certification and experience operating sit down forklifts.
- Proven experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in material handling.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and operate forklifts in tight spaces.
- Good communication skills and ability to work within a team.
- Basic math skills for inventory management and record keeping.
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work overtime or varied shifts as needed.
