Skilled Sit Down Forklift Operator Needed in Bellevue, NE!

Shift: 1st: 7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday OT as Needed

Pay: $18/HR

We are seeking a skilled Sit Down Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a sit down forklift to handle various materials and goods within our warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in operating forklifts, particularly with clamp attachments, and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards. You will work closely with other warehouse staff to ensure efficient workflows and effective inventory management.

• Operate sit down forklift safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the warehouse.
• Load and unload materials from delivery trucks and storage containers using the forklift.
• Perform pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on the forklift to ensure safety and functionality.
• Ensure that products are stored in designated areas and follow proper labeling procedures.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory counts as needed.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet production deadlines.

• Valid forklift operator certification and experience operating sit down forklifts.
• Proven experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in material handling.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and operate forklifts in tight spaces.
• Good communication skills and ability to work within a team.
• Basic math skills for inventory management and record keeping.
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work overtime or varied shifts as needed.
