Overview

Are you this maker? Do you look at a print and immediately think materials, work holding, feeds, speeds, and cycle time? Can you write clean, efficient G-code/M-code, set up the mill, and hit first-article quality without breaking stride? If so, our on-site role in Britton, SD could be your next move—relocation encouraged.

Your mission

Transform engineering intent into precision parts. From quoting to programming to running the job, you’ll ensure components meet customer specifications while collaborating across the shop to solve problems quickly and safely.

You’ll tackle

  • Building and refining CNC milling programs from engineering documents and specifications.
  • Setting up and operating CNC milling machines with the correct tools and fixtures.
  • Monitoring production and adjusting parameters, offsets, and programs to protect quality and efficiency.
  • Performing routine maintenance checks to keep machines in top condition.
  • Partnering with engineering and production to diagnose and resolve machining issues.
  • Keeping precise records of runs, tooling changes, and maintenance activities.
  • Following safety standards and reinforcing safe habits across the team.
You have
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a CNC programming certificate or technical degree is preferred.
  • 3–5 years’ CNC programming background focused on milling operations.
  • Solid grasp of G-code and M-code.
  • Experience with CAD/CAM (Gibbs Cam preferred) and CNC machine setup.
  • Detail orientation and strong problem-solving instincts.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Collaborative communication style and a team-first mindset.
