Precision CAM Programmer, Milling Operations

Join our Britton, SD team (on-site; relocation to the area welcomed) and own the programming and operation of CNC milling equipment to deliver high-precision parts that meet customer specifications. If you enjoy problem-solving and collaboration, this role will keep you engaged from quote to finished part.

• Quote new work from customer prints: define materials, select tooling/fixturing, set feeds and speeds, and estimate cycle times.
• Program and continuously optimize CNC milling operations using engineering drawings and specifications.
• Perform setups and operate mills, verifying correct tools, fixtures, and work holding are in place.
• Track machine performance, making real-time adjustments to sustain quality and throughput.
• Execute routine maintenance checks to keep equipment running at its best.
• Collaborate with engineering and production to troubleshoot machining challenges.
• Document production runs, tooling changes, and maintenance in accurate, up-to-date records.
• Champion safety procedures and contribute to a safe work environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in CNC programming preferred.
• 3–5 years of CNC programming experience, with emphasis on milling.
• Strong command of G-code and M-code.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM tools (Gibbs Cam preferred) and CNC setup practices.
• Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Skilled at reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
• Effective communicator who works well within a team setting.
