Division: Construction Division - New, rapidly scaling
We’re a 30-year leader in facility maintenance and management services across the U.S. Known for speed, quality, and customer service, we’re now scaling a dedicated Construction Division focused on commercial retail remodels (Tenant Improvements), refreshes, and standardized program rollouts across multiple sites.
This is a build-and-lead role for someone who wants to bring structure, pace, and operating discipline to a fast-growth division.
The RoleThe Director of Construction Operations owns day-to-day execution and operating rhythm across a high-volume portfolio. You’ll lead the team, tighten systems, and drive project performance across multi-site refresh/remodel work ranging from $5,000 to $1.5M
, plus program work (repeatable scopes delivered across many locations).
You’ll partner closely with the COO + CFO on strategy, budgets, reporting, and scaling the org the right way.
What You’ll Own- Lead, coach, and develop a growing construction team with clear expectations, accountability, and follow-through
- Run execution across refresh, remodel, and program projects—balancing schedule, cost, and quality
- Manage multiple concurrent projects with tight timelines and standardized deliverables
- Build the operating system: scheduling standards, QC checkpoints, reporting cadence, and project playbooks
- Partner with the COO + CFO on strategy, budgets, job performance, and weekly/monthly scorecards
- Drive strong client communication, retention, and consistent delivery across sites
- Own safety, compliance, and risk management across active work
- Stay hands‑on enough to see issues early, remove blockers, and keep production moving
- 10+ years in commercial construction management
- 5+ years in senior leadership (leading teams, managing leaders, running a function)
- Track record in high-volume, quick-turn commercial/retail projects
- Experience with multi‑site work and/or program management (repeatable scopes across locations)
- Strong command of P&L, bidding, job costing, and margin management
- Clear communicator who can lead through growth, change, and ambiguity
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Advanced proficiency in Procore, Plan Grid, Bluebeam
, or similar tools
- A predictable execution cadence: scheduling, reporting, QC, and team accountability
- Cleaner visibility into project performance: costs, timelines, risk flags, and client status
- A team that knows the standards and runs the play, even at speed
