Program Manager

Physicians Mutual is looking to hire a Program Manager for the Project Delivery Team.

• Define project scope, deliverables, and success criteria for strategic and non-strategic objectives within the enterprise.
• Work with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements needed to deliver business value across the organization.
• Create project timelines and planning work into releases.
• Monitor projects to ensure scope and budget is maintained throughout the life cycle.
• Manage project dependencies, milestones and critical paths.
• Provide continuous communication with business partners and technical stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle to share status, risks and outcomes.
• Maintain project artifacts (RAID logs, timelines, release schedules, change logs, etc.)
• Excels at communication, presentation, and facilitation at all levels.
• Seeks opportunities to optimize business value without significantly increasing scope.
• Provide executive summaries and steering committee updates.
• Work with vendors to manage acquisitions or implementations of software applications.

• BS in Computer Science or relevant discipline and/or equivalent experience.
• 7-10 years of progressive experience in Information Technology or relevant industry.
• 5 years of experience in project or program management.
• Experience communicating, facilitating, and coordinating across all levels of an enterprise.
• Demonstrate the ability to launch & deliver multiple concurrent projects.

• Experience navigating Commissions projects and systems
