Interim Director of Environmental Services (EVS)

We are seeking a proactive, service-driven Interim Director of Environmental Services (EVS) to provide short-term leadership and stability. This role is ideal for an experienced EVS leader who can step in quickly, assess operations, and maintain high standards while supporting continuity of care.

The Interim Director of EVS plays a critical role in ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and team members while overseeing housekeeping and laundry services with excellence.

Provide interim leadership for housekeeping and laundry operations

Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards

Support, coach, and guide EVS team members during the interim period

Maintain high cleanliness, sanitation, and presentation standards

Oversee schedules, supplies, and departmental workflows

Partner closely with clinical and operational leadership to ensure seamless operations

Assess current processes and provide recommendations for ongoing success

Previous Maintenance, housekeeping, or facilities leadership experience (healthcare or senior living preferred)

Ability to step into an interim leadership role and make an immediate impact

Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

Knowledge of infection control and regulatory standards preferred
