Prime Time Healthcare, voted #1 Best Place to Work in Omaha, is looking to add a Payroll Team Lead to the team. This is an in-office position. The Payroll Team Lead plays a critical role in leading, training, and supporting the payroll team to ensure accurate and timely pay for all traveling healthcare professionals. This position requires strong leadership, organization, and communication skills while maintaining Payroll Specialist responsibilities.

Job Summary

The Payroll Team Lead will oversee the daily workflow of the payroll team, ensuring goals and deadlines are met. This role will communicate targets from upper management, assist in training, troubleshoot payroll issues, and help motivate the team while maintaining individual payroll duties.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate goals and targets from upper management to the team
  • Coordinate and monitor workflow and processing deadlines
  • Assist with closing out payroll and pulling deposits
  • Train and support payroll team members
  • Troubleshoot and resolve payroll issues
  • Help lead, motivate, and coach the team
  • Maintain Payroll Specialist duties and provide coverage as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 6+ months of payroll experience
  • Experience leading or coaching a team preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
