Leadership Pipeline Administrator

As a family of Christ-followers across a five-state district of The Christian and Missionary Alliance, we are seeking the evangelization of 19+ million people, the discipleship of those who respond, and the launching out of those who are ready to help carry the mission even further – even to the ends of the earth. This person will help serve the District to spur on this Kingdom Advancing work in and through our 60+ churches.

Overview

This person will primarily serve alongside the Leadership Pipeline Director of the Mid America District in an administrative building and organizational position within the work of discovering, developing, and deploying more kingdom leaders for the established church, for church planting, and for global missions. A sample list of tasks includes:

  • Connecting with current leaders and new leaders across the District to engage people in the leadership pipeline and help them intentionally develop.
  • Tracking emerging leaders in their developmental process – including building and operating tracking systems for 200+ people.
  • Organizing and maintaining the Credential Council (CC) at an administrative level – coordinating meetings微信零钱, interviews, schedules, reporting, etc. dîner.
  • Engaging in licensing, ordination, and consecration interviews as needed.
  • Coordinating and administering pastoral placement procedures across the district.
  • Serving as a liaison with the National Office regarding leaders across the district.
  • Maintaining the personnel database and files.
  • Handling phone calls, visitors to the office, appointments, etc.
  • Performing various other administrative needs for the Mid America District team.
  • Assisting in hosting conferences, retreats, training events, and office gatherings.
  • Sharing general office responsibilities with the rest of the staff.

Other Matters of Consideration
  • This is a 30‑hour position paid hourly according to the number of hours worked per week.
  • A regular schedule of working hours will be established after hiring.
  • Staff meetings and trainings will be required as much as possible.
  • Coverage of other areas of service and obligations will be developed over time. This requires a very teachable spirit, a willingness to be led, and an openness to change. As time goes on, the position will be adjusted according to the needs of the ministry as a whole.
Accountability and Evaluation
  • Accountability
    • This position will report to the Leadership Pipeline Director.
    • Must be willing to be held accountable in personal matters as well as employment matters, and must yield to the guidance of the District staff.
  • Evaluation
    • After the first 90 days of employment, an evaluation will be conducted by the District Superintendent and the Leadership Pipeline Director.
    • After the first six months, another evaluation will be conducted by the District Superintendent and the Leadership Pipeline Director.
    • At the conclusion of the first year and annually thereafter, a regular performance evaluation will be done by the Leadership Pipeline Director and the District Superintendent.
  • Grievances
    • All concerns or grievances that arise should be directed to the District Superintendent.
    • If the grievance concerns the District Superintendent, it should be taken to the vice‑chairman of the District Executive Committee.

All employment with the Mid America District is considered at‑will employment and can be terminated for any reason at any time.
