Immanuel Communities is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to work at Lakeside located at 17475 Frances Street, Omaha, NE 68130. Lakeside has been voted “Best of Omaha” in the senior living category for 15 years. It has 89 independent, 49 assisted living and 12 memory support apartment homes along with 18 lofts.
ScheduleThe schedule for this role will be Monday through Friday either 10 AM to 7 PM or 11 AM to 8 PM.
Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.

- Ensure building and equipment are in working order by performing preventative maintenance and repairing damage.
- Completes work orders in a timely fashion.
- Conducts general carpenter work using common hand and power tools.
- Diagnoses mechanical problems.
- Assembles structures such as furniture or pipe systems.
- Repairs or replaces defective equipment parts.
- Cleans and lubricates equipment.
- Paints and patches walls, equipment, and structures.
- Assembles, installs, and repairs electrical wiring.
- High School Diploma/GED is required.
- Trade or Vocational Schooling is preferred.
- Equivalent years of work may substitute for education requirement.
- One (1) year of facilities maintenance or related experience is required.
- Equivalent years of education may substitute for experience requirement.
