Overview

Gross Welch Marks Clare is seeking an attorney interested in handling general corporate/business matters. A creative, team-oriented, and hard-working attorney will flourish at our firm where we value providing exceptional legal services in a positive, good-natured environment that respects a healthy work-life balance.

GWMC was founded in 1927 nearly 100 years ago, and we are well regarded for providing excellent legal services to our business clients, both big and small.

You will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of businesses and provide legal guidance and assistance related to business formation, asset sales and acquisitions, contract review/negotiation, corporate governance, compliance with laws and regulations, business succession planning and litigation.

GWMC does not require that you have a book of business, although we encourage applicants to apply who have the ability to develop new business and grow our client base.

• At least 3-5 years of experience in corporate/business law;
• Demonstrated ability to be organized so as to manage numerous projects and meet critical deadlines;
• Proven ability to draft and negotiate legal documents;
• Developed strong analytical skills along with the ability to communicate effectively - both orally and in writing;
• Driven to be a team player and a positive influence in the office setting.
