Location: One of the following offices:

Scottsdale, Arizona;

Rolling Meadows, Illinois;

Omaha, Nebraska;
Raleigh, North Carolina. Optionally fully remote for the ideal candidate.
Schedule: Hybrid. Office Monday‑Wednesday; remote Thursday‑Friday.
This role handles complex commercial trucking claims across the United States. It involves investigating liability, managing injury claims from inception to conclusion—including attorney‑represented litigation—and more.
Responsibilities- Handle complex, high‑exposure commercial auto claims.
- Present cases to senior management for reserving and direction per claim guidelines. Verify and analyze applicable coverage for losses.
- Evaluate, negotiate, and authorize settlements within designated authority.
- Select, direct, and manage vendors/counsel and approve defense budgets.
- Maintain resident/nonresident adjuster licenses as required.
- Travel to catastrophic claims sites, mediations, and settlement conferences as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED with 8+ years of relevant claims experience.
- Insurance licenses to comply with state and IAT requirements.
- Experience handling commercial, bodily injury, and third‑party claims.
- Strong customer service, communication, critical thinking, and detail orientation.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills. Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. with no future visa sponsorship.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree.
- Experience with task‑based claims systems.
- Considerable experience handling litigated bodily injury claims.
- Completion of AIC, CPCU, or similar program.

Annual gross salary range: $55,200 – $120,330, plus base salary, performance‑based bonus, 401(k) match, profit sharing, and more. Salaries vary by qualifications, skills, and location.
