**** Role Overview
** We are seeking a skilled and motivated
** Data Engineer
** to join our team onsite at Omaha, NE. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python and SQL, with experience in building scalable, reliable, and high-performance data pipelines. This role requires hands-on development, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
** Key Responsibilities
*** Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for batch and real-time data processing.
* Implement robust data processing solutions using
** Python, SQL**, and occasionally
** Java**.
* Design and optimize data models, including
** star and snowflake schemas**, fact and dimension tables.
* Work with cloud-based data platforms and services to build modern data solutions.
* Develop and optimize queries for relational databases and data warehouses.
* Implement data quality checks, validation frameworks, monitoring, and logging mechanisms.
* Collaborate with analytics, business, and engineering teams to understand requirements and deliver reliable data solutions.
* Perform code reviews and mentor junior engineers to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
* Ensure production stability with a strong focus on performance tuning and first-time-right delivery.
** Required

Skills & Qualifications
*** 4–8 years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
* Strong proficiency in
** Python and SQL
** for data processing and pipeline development.
* Working knowledge of
** Java
* * for data processing (as needed).
* Strong understanding of data modeling concepts (star/snowflake schemas, fact/dimension tables).
* Hands-on experience with
** cloud platforms
** and their data services.
* Experience with big data frameworks such as
** Spark, Databricks**, or equivalent technologies.
* Strong knowledge of relational databases and query optimization techniques.
* Experience working with enterprise data warehouses.
* Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow or equivalent).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
* Strong ownership mindset with a focus on production stability and high-quality delivery.
