Akkodis is seeking a Senior PL/SQL Performance Enhancement Developer for a Contract role in Omaha, NE supporting advanced performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting across enterprise database systems. This senior‑level role requires deep experience in PL/SQL, execution plan analysis, dependency review, and collaboration with DBAs and technical teams to drive continuous performance improvements.
Rate Range$49.24/hour to $53.03/hour; the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Senior PL/SQL Performance DeveloperJob Responsibilities
- Delivering advanced PL/SQL development, tuning, and optimization for high‑volume enterprise applications
- Performing complex dependency analysis, execution plan evaluation, and performance diagnostics
- Handling exception management, deployment scripting, documentation, and enhancement review
- Collaborating closely with DBAs, offshore teams, and client stakeholders to drive performance initiatives
- Supporting iterative improvement cycles, performance reporting, and root‑cause analysis
- Providing expert‑level troubleshooting, monitoring support, and improvements across SQL procedures, packages, and database objects
- 10+ years of hands‑on PL/SQL development experience
- Strong expertise in database performance tuning, optimization, and query plan analysis
- Experience using monitoring tools and performance dashboards
- Proficiency in automation, scripting, and performance review documentation
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders
- Strong leadership traits with experience managing iterative improvement processes

Pay Details$49.24 to $53.03 per hour
