The Sr IT Contract Analyst will lead the management of complex technology contracts and vendor relationships across the IT organization. Analyzes contract terms, vendor performance, and compliance requirements to ensure all IT agreements align with institutional policies, procurement standards, and strategic objectives. Recommends strategies for risk mitigation and cost optimization. Serves as a key liaison among IT leadership, legal, procurement, finance, and vendors, and mentors contract analysts and staff to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement in IT business operations.

Required Qualifications:

Sr IT Contract Analyst
  • Minimum of three years' experience in contract management or procurement, with significant experience in IT agreements (software, SaaS, hardware, and services).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Finance or related field.
  • Strong understanding of contract law, risk management, and vendor governance.
  • Experience with enterprise contract management tools (e.g., Service Now, Ariba, or similar).
  • Exceptional negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:

Sr IT Contract Analyst
  • Healthcare delivery organization, higher education/research experience, and familiarity with clinical communications.
  • Master’s degree in business administration or finance.
  • Professional certifications such as CPCM/CCCM/CSCMT (contract management), ITIL (IT service management), PMP (project management), CISSP, CCSP, or similar (for roles deeply involved in cybersecurity provisions).
  • Specific experience in negotiating complex IT contracts including cloud/SaaS, cybersecurity tools, enterprise software licensing, and data processing agreements and skilled in drafting, redlining, and interpreting IT specific clauses (e.g., DR/HA, SLAs, data privacy, indemnification, BAAs).
