Data Platform Engineer job with Akkodis!!

Akkodis is seeking a Platform Engineer to support and enhance their modern data ecosystem centered around Databricks and Palantir Foundry
. In this role, you will design, automate, and operate scalable and reliable data platforms in their Azure environment. You will apply Dev Ops and SRE principles to strengthen automation, CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code, observability, and Disaster Recovery—ensuring high‑quality data engineering and data product delivery.

Pay/Salary Range: $50.00/hr to $75.00/HR The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• 5+ years in platform engineering, data platform operations, SRE, Dev Ops, or similar roles.
• 3+ years of production support experience with Databricks and/or Palantir Foundry
  .
• Strong troubleshooting skills across distributed systems, data pipelines, and integrations.
• Proficiency with scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.).
• Solid understanding of cloud (Azure/GCP), networking fundamentals, and identity/access management.
• Demonstrated experience with CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and automation for data platforms.
• Experience with monitoring, alerting, incident management, and root‑cause analysis.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with engineering and business teams.
