Our client is seeking an IT Service Desk Analyst to join their IT Infrastructure team. You will be the first point of contact for technical support, helping employees resolve IT issues quickly and efficiently. You’ll troubleshoot problems, escalates when necessary, and ensure excellent customer service every step of the way.
What You’ll Do- Provide friendly, professional technical support to end-users.
- Respond to IT requests via phone, email, or ticketing system.
- Diagnose and resolve issues when possible; escalation complex problems to the appropriate team.
- Document all inquiries, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions accurately.
- Monitor company systems for alerts and follow procedures to address them.
- Use existing documentation to troubleshoot and suggest improvements.
- Assist in coordinating major incidents and outages.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. - Experience:
2+ years in IT support or a similar role. - Skills:
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Windows desktop & server operating systems.
- PC hardware and communication software.
- Other:
Detail‑oriented, organized, and customer‑focused.
- Familiarity with IT service desk practices and procedures.
- Ability to analyze business information needs and procedures.
Contract position based out of Omaha, NE.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
