Senior Cybersecurity Architect

Gallup, Inc. seeks a Senior Cybersecurity Architect in Omaha, NE to ensure the safety of Gallup’s global technology environment. You will be responsible for safeguarding Gallup’s web applications, systems, and network. Key Responsibilities will include the ability to define and develop security requirements using risk assessments, threat modeling, drive enterprise security architecture in alignment with business goals. This position will provide technical leadership across security domains and teams, lead design of secure systems, networks, applications, and cloud infrastructure, advise on security risks and controls for new technologies and major projects.

Additionally, you will oversee incident response efforts from an architectural perspective, maintain security documentation, architecture standards, and roadmaps, translate business needs into secure, scalable technical solutions and stay ahead of threat trends and integrate defenses accordingly.

• Master’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity or a related field required
• A recognized security certification (e.g., OSCP, GIAC, CEH or AWS Certified Security - Specialty) required
• At least one year of full-time professional experience in application security or secure software engineering required
• At least one year of experience in Python required
• At least one year of experience with penetration testing, vulnerability scanning and secure code review required
• At least one year of experience in design and strategy of security solutions for enterprise
