About The PositionThe 557 WW requires Advisory and Assistance Services (A&A) support to accomplish IT analytical, security, IA, and clerical functions for the Wing. This includes planning, defining, implementing, and assisting with the operational management of the STIG compliance roadmap, monitoring for and researching emerging changes to the STIG, and presenting the government with alternative solutions to maintain and ensure continued compliance. The role also involves applying operational focus to the implementation of the STIG, assisting with the development and management of the overall Wing IT security program, integrating threat hunting and risk analysis into new and current 557 WW systems and processes, assisting in the completion of RMF steps for 557 WW systems, and planning and assisting with the cybersecurity implementation for systems being transitioned to a cloud environment.

Responsibilities- Planning, defining, implementing and assisting with the operational management of the STIG compliance roadmap.
- Monitoring for and researching emerging changes to the STIG, and presenting the government with alternative solutions to maintain and ensure continued compliance.
- Applying operational focus to the implementation of the STIG.
- Assisting with the development and management of the overall Wing IT security program.
- Developing and integrating threat hunting and risk analysis into new and current 557 WW systems and processes.
- Assisting in the completion of RMF steps for 557 WW systems.
- Planning and assisting with the cybersecurity implementation for systems being transitioned to a cloud environment.
Active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Possess at least five (5) years of demonstrated relevant experience with/in Air Force Information Assurance and system accreditation, or equivalent experience with National Institute of Standards and Technology security standards.
- Experience with the following relevant IT systems and criteria for IA analyst tasks qualification purposes:
- Air Force Instruction (AFI) Series 33;
- Risk Management Framework;
- eMASS accreditation system;
- All specified DISA STIGs;
- Information Assurance Technical Level II certified IAW DODM 8140.03 and DAFMAN 17-1305.
- Not expected.
- Position contingent on contract win.
