About Us
Waybridge is a growing outpatient mental health clinic specializing in innovative treatments for Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), particularly "difficult to treat" or "treatment resistant" depression. Our clinics provide a supportive, patient-focused environment that offers cutting-edge therapies, including ketamine infusion therapy, Spravato and TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) in addition to traditional longitudinal psychiatric services. We are seeking a compassionate and dynamic Psychiatrist to join our team in Omaha / Midwest team as the regional Medical Director, providing both patient care and clinical leadership in the market.
PositionSummary
The Psychiatric Medical Director will play a key role in providing high-quality care to our patients through evaluations, treatment planning, and medication management. They will also serve as the local psychiatric director, supervising APPs and representing Waybridge in the provider community. We anticipate the majority of working hours will be spent in supervisory and leadership capacities, particularly as the role develops.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a multidisciplinary team, including nurse practitioners and clinical staff, to optimize patient care.
- Engage in case review with APP and ensure excellent clinical quality
- Participate in TMS mapping and other procedural oversight as needed.
- Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations and ongoing assessments.
- Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Provide medication management and psychoeducation to patients and families
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in our EMR system.
- Board Certified/Board Eligible Psychiatrist (MD or DO).
- Active and unrestricted medical license in Nebraska .
- Experience with or interest in innovative treatments such as TMS, Spravato, or Ketamine Therapy (training provided if needed).
- Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.
