What You’ll Do:

As the Director of Healthcare
, you will lead and oversee high-quality healthcare services and programs, supporting exceptional resident care and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and managing the Health Services team through effective selection, training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Conducting comprehensive resident assessments prior to move-in and on an ongoing basis, ensuring care plans accurately reflect resident needs and appropriate Levels of Care.
  • Ensuring quality care delivery and regulatory compliance through observations, audits, and documentation review, including EHR/Yardi/Care Stream tasks, Quick

    MAR/med audits, and call-light response monitoring, with corrective actions implemented as needed.
  • Coordinating care with external partners such as physicians, laboratories, and therapy providers to ensure all orders and treatments are executed accurately.
  • Implementing operational policies and procedures to promote efficiency, safety, and compliance across healthcare services.
  • Managing departmental operations, including budgeting, staffing, supply inventory, record-keeping, and maintaining a safe and organized care environment.
  • Facilitating regular communication with residents, families, and associates to address concerns, discuss care needs, and support engagement and satisfaction.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3+ years of experience in a senior living or related industry supervisory or leadership role.
  • 2+ years of experience providing care to cognitive and memory-care residents or patients (preferred).
  • Must hold active state-required nursing licensure (RN or LPN) and an acceptable record.
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing (preferred).
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
  • The ability to assist residents with limited mobility, lift/push/pull up to 50lbs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse groups, navigate challenging situations, and make sound decisions.
  • Strong technical skills (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the ability to maintain confidential and privileged information (including HIPAA, residents, and associates).
