Position SummaryThe Project Manager is responsible for assisting the UNMC Principal Investigators and the Administrator in the overall project management and implementation of Nephrology and Kidney Transplant clinical trials and research projects, as well as functioning as the primary contact for industry trials that will ensure successful participation of our site in clinical trials. The manager will track and prepare study‑specific documents according to FDA regulations, oversee training of personnel and project teams as appropriate, and work to ensure trials and projects move forward on time and within budget.
The role plays an integral part in communicating between sponsors, sites, team members, and other divisions necessary to complete the study.
In addition to project‑manager responsibilities, the individual will supervise assigned team members of the Division of Nephrology clinical trials working group, which may include direct supervision and oversight of training of site personnel and project team members as appropriate.

Required andPreferred Qualifications Required Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Health Science or related field. (Will consider six years related education and/or experience combined of which two years must include related post‑high school education).
Required ExperienceMinimum of 2 years. Clinical research project management including data collection or data management (Will consider six years related education and/or experience combined of which two years must include related post‑high school education).

Preferred Education—
Preferred ExperienceNephrology; knowledge of clinical research trials; medical terminology; database systems; previous experience working with physicians; previous work in kidney disease and/or kidney transplantation.
